La commune de Sangalkam est en effervescence ce jeudi, après la découverte du corps sans vie de Serigne Issa Touré dans un puits. Des milliers de disciples ont afflué sur les lieux pour constater la situation. Entre véhicules garés en double file, fidèles en transe, cris et pleurs, l’atmosphère est lourde dans cette partie du département de Rufisque.
Selon des témoignages recueillis par l'équipe de PressAfrik sur place, le marabout aurait été victime d’un coup monté. "Il est traqué depuis 1992. Serigne Issa Touré a sauvé des jeunes qui étaient sur le mauvais chemin, il a beaucoup œuvré pour l'islam", ont affirmé des talibés, visiblement écœurés.
D’autres, plus catégoriques, évoquent un "meurtre". "L’endroit où son corps a été retrouvé est inaccessible sans aide. Le puits est long de 7 mètres en hauteur.
