Vol nocturne à diass : Il risque deux ans pour siphonnage de gasoil
À la barre, Yoro Sow a tenté de minimiser sa responsabilité, affirmant avoir été contacté par un certain Salif Fall pour récupérer du gasoil, tout en disant ne pas connaître cet individu. Cependant, le juge a rappelé qu’il avait admis, lors de l’enquête, s’être rendu à plusieurs reprises sur le site pour voler du carburant, déclarant : « C’était mon gagne-pain. » Lors des faits, Sow, accompagné d’un complice qui s’est enfui, portait 18 bidons de 20 litres, achetés à 7 000 FCFA l’unité pour être revendus. C’est lors de sa troisième tentative que les agents de sécurité, dirigés par Cheikh Sarr, l’ont intercepté alors qu’il empruntait une route vers la nationale, évitant les postes de garde.
Un ouvrier de l’entreprise, Salif Fall, a été arrêté et jugé aux côtés de Sow, mais nie toute implication. Le procureur a requis deux ans d’emprisonnement, dont un an ferme, contre Yoro Sow, tout en écartant la responsabilité de Salif Fall, faute de preuves. Me Famara Faty, avocat de Sow, a plaidé la relaxe, arguant que son client avait agi sur un appel téléphonique sans preuve d’un vol organisé.
Le verdict est attendu le 21 août 2025.
